In early 2018 I was awarded a PhD in Literature from the University of Manchester.

My research focused on time in eighteenth-century erotic literature, specifically the unique attitude towards time demonstrated by libertine characters. My thesis is a comparative textual study of three major works of libertine fiction, Clarissa by Samuel Richardson, Les Liaisons Dangereuses by Choderlos de Laclos, and Juliette by the Marquis de Sade.

At graduation with my supervisor Professor Hal Gladfelder.
